Cornell V. Calinescu, M.D.
Dr. Cornell Calinescu is the medical director for Healthy Hallandale Medical Center. Board certified in Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine, Dr. Calinescu has a passion for Pediatrics and Geriatric Medicine and has advanced training in Geriatric and Age Management Medicine. A specialist in nutrition, Dr. Calinescu has created a unique four-tier state-of-the-art weight loss management program that integrates the science of acute weight loss with nutritional and lifestyle change. He’s also developed the most complete vitamin/mineral/antioxidant supplement pack available on the market. Dr. Calinescu has recently completed his first book on weight management, which will be published in the near future. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Calinescu is the Assistant Medical Director of the Emergency Department of Plantation General Hospital, Plantation, FL, and an Attending Physician at University Hospital & Medical Center and Northwest Medical Center in Tamarac and Margate, FL, respectively; North Shore Medical Center and South Miami Hospital and Medical Center Baptist Health, both located in Miami. A voluntary assistant medical professor at the University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine and a clinical medical instructor for Ross University School of Medicine and Emergency Medicine for FIU School of Medicine, Dr. Calinescu has practiced in Hallandale Beach for more than nine years. Dr. Calinescu has admitting hospital staff privileges at Aventura Hospital & Medical Center in Aventura, FL. He is licensed in Florida and Tennessee. He completed his residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, NY, and Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York, NY.
Lori Eduartez, ARNP, FNP-BC
Lori Eduartez is a Board Certified Advanced Registered Family Nurse Practitioner. Lori has worked in many aspects of nursing including trauma and open heart surgery intensive care. She graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing with dual honor society recognition and lifetime membership. Lori is also an adjunct faculty and clinical instructor for Miami Dade College School of Nursing. In addition, she is certified in the administration of Botulism Toxin A (Botox), dermal fillers, and sclerotherapy.
